As some may already have heard I'm going on 28 October with Eva Tedert Holmberg from Sweden to Kathmandu to help building a school for the children affected after the earthquake in Nepal. As the rainy season comes, our goal is to build a school in Rathankot in Sindupalchowk slum.
To do this, we would like to sponsor the highest possible amount. In addition, it is possible to make a donation which we want to collect as much money as possible to our goal.
Gayatri Fund for Nepal's Hope After the earthquake in Nepal, hundreds of thousands of people are homeless. Villages are completely destroyed in some areas. The need for clean drinking water, food, shelter and medical care is urgent.
A school is a precious commodity for children in remote villages. Children often walk long distances to attend their region’s only school. So, where rural schools have been demolished by the quake, children have simply been left with nowhere to seek an education.
Our intention is, with your help, to expand this effort to other areas once the new Sunkani-Rathankot school is completed, also keeping in mind other critical needs such as clean drinkingwater and shelter.
This campaign has been created by Deva Premal, Miten, and Manose, who was born and raised in Nepal, along with Eva Holmberg Tedert (founder of Society for Street Children in Nepal-- www.gatubarnnepal.net , www.facebook.com/gatubarnnepal ). We already have the network to bring your help to where it is most needed without middlemen, fees, or operation costs. We will personally ensure that any funds that you donate will be put to constructive use.
Thank you so much for your support.
My blessings and may all human beings live in peace.
