Hello, my name is Mia. I'm from thesmall Caribbean island of Saint Lucia.I love artand was involved different arts related clubs at my previous schools. Some of these clubs were photography, fashion and design and the arts club.In Saint Lucia traditional occupations such as a doctor, lawyer, teacher and so on, were regarded as "real jobs". Fields of work involving art were not considered a substantial livelihood.
Five months ago I was hospitalized for 5 days due to dizziness and increased head aches as well as left eye blurriness. I ended up being diagnosed with early stages of MS after a number of studies. Due to my symptoms I was not able to return to work for almost a month. We got behind on bills and the hospital bills began to come in. I have followed up with a neurologist at Barrow clinic which specializes in this. They are going to start me on therapy right way for my MS at home for 5 days via IV and once a month after that.I'll see the doctor again next months. My wife has been at my side this whole time along with my family but we still need some help. Any little bit helps towards this. My wife has to put off her schooling due to this situation. We have only been married for a few months, but I thank God everyday for her. Thank you all for your time and consideration.

As many of you already know, on October 4, 2016, Hurricane Matthew, a Category 4 Hurricane, made landfall on the Island of Haiti, leaving behind massive and unspeakable destruction. According to the latest Reuters report, the death toll is well over 900 and more than 60,000 are displaced. Sadly, those numbers continue to rise daily. Hurricane Matthew destroyed a good 90% of the Southern peninsula of Haiti, which was the main provider of much of the local food for the rest of the country. Food is already becoming a scarce commodity. Disease is fastly spreading. Most of the water available to victims is unsafe for drinking and now the vast majority of the population, the more vulnerable, are left, once more, to fend for themselves in order to survive. We are called again to do what we can, to the best of our abil
These dogs are noble and splendid runners and because of these qualities, they are used for hunting and on commercial racetracks. After they have given all they have, the galgos are dumped and left to an uncertain life on the street, unworthy of care and consideration, or they are killed in atrocious ways.GRH needs volunteers to pick up the lucky dogs in Spain that got adopted, and accompany them on their flight to their forever homes in The Netherlands and Belgium. My sister Isabelle already adopted two of these abandoned galgos via GRH.Now that I have quit my job, me and my sister want to go to Spain in April to pick up a few of the dogs and bring them to their forever homes in The Netherlands. Can you please help us to make this little, but so important dream for a few galgos and us come true? Every Euro counts and is much appreciated. I can pay you back in translating your Dutch documents, help you with your annual tax filing etc et

It's no secret that I've been advocating for the plight of the refugees in Europe. Nearly every day I think to myself that I need to go to to Greece. Well now I am. I will be heading to Greece in June to distribute aid, hope, and humanity. The brutal conflict in Syria has caused one of the largest crisis the world has ever seen. Volunteers from around the world are in camps every day trying their best to ease pain, feed babies, put shoes on feet, and fit baby carriers to moms, dads, and siblings so they can have their hands free to take care of themselves and their neighbors. This summer I am hoping to count myself as one of those volunteers on the ground in action as the helper that is so desperately needed. I know it may be asking a lot, but I am asking for your help to get me there. I'd like to collect $2,000 to cover the cost of flights, accommodations, and some extra to purchase additional aid on the ground.

Mason has had a fairly uneventful first few years of life if we skip past the reflux from birth requiring ongoing medication and a gastroscopy/sigmoidoscopy by 18months, the broken leg(On a slide with a responsible adult) just before turning 2, the medically needed circumcision at 3 years old and the Tonsillectomy at 3 and a half(due to 18months of chronic recurring tonsillitis landing us in ED a few times), and finally diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (with a rather high IQ)last year..he was a very miserable baby from 2 days old 24/7 until diagnosed with a rare condition Eosinophilic Esophagitis(EoE), this was causing major pain and ulcering of his esophagus and we found he was allergic to most if not all foods. He then started on an elemental formula only diet(No other food or drink) at 22 months(2011). He had a Nasogastric feeding tube for 3 months last year to top up his weight. He started small food trials mid 2014 and is on a small selection of safe foods
